Fund Raising

Rebuilding Together / Caroline County is a new non-profit volunteer organization providing free assistance to low income homeowners in Caroline County who are elderly, disabled or families with children and are facing necessary but unaffordable home repairs. A related effort is the operation of an architectural salvage depot.

Because we are new we are faced with the usual problems common to all new volunteer, non-profit organizations; one of these is funding.

Since Rebuilding Together / Caroline County was first proposed in March 2007 much has happened. We have become incorporated and have obtained 501c3 tax-exempt status from the Internal revenue service and are recognized by the State of Maryland as a non-profit organization.

The costs incurred during our organizational stage, the costs of our first Home Repair projects and the costs of starting our Salvage Depot have been met by our officers. We now look ahead to expanding the work defined in our mission statement. Although some repair materials will be donated and volunteers will provide free labor, there will be significant costs for materials not donated and for operating overhead.

We have clients being processed.

There is work to be done.

Our needs are immediate.

We are looking to individuals and organizations for financial assistance in carrying out our mission. Donations - tax deductible to the extent provided by law - can be sent to:
